The Information Technology Association of the Gambia, through support from Google and Gambia.com hosted and launched The Google Technology User Group on the 28^th of December 2011. 

Digital marketing has been growing in use exponentially over the years. It is the one of the cheapest advertising methods to pursue, and can be the most cost effective approach to conducting a marketing campaign. We will discuss the various methods to obtain email addresses, send out html/text emails, track each email campaign's effectiveness, and use the data to fine-tune your email marketing strategy. 

The Africa Android Challenge is an opportunity to discover the best developers and Android experts on the African continent.  The contestants have an opportunity to create innovative applications and produce local "African" content.  In addition, they can submit lectures related to Android on the Android Platform via the Google University Consortium Program.

Google Technolgy User Groups are for developers who are interested in Google's
developer technology. The group comes together quarterly in a year to learn about
Google Technologies. The lecturers of the Google services can be from GTUG managers from other parts of the world or from Google staffs. GTUG is recognized by Google, but it is completely independent from it.
